6 by 6 film is at least 30 inches and up to 33 inches. it is attached to a piece of bigger backing paper that protects the film while it is on the spool but must come off later when puttingt he film on the spiral. this type of film is professional bc it allows for bigger pictures to be developed rather than digital cameras. it was first used in 1901.

to develope this film you first go in the dark room and take the paper wrapping off the film. then you insert the film into the angled not curved part of the spiral. while turning the spiral you make sure the paper does not go into it only the film (it might help to hold the paper in your mouth). then you rip the paper off once all the film is inserted. put the spiral in the black box just like you would regular film.
