This photo was from my trip to Cefalu, Sicily a couple weekends ago. I took the photo facing towards the light and lot of the color was lost. However, although I was initially trying to capture the colors of the surroundings I decided that I liked the way this photo came out. The rays of the sun are shining right through the center of the cross, giving the image a spiritual feel.
