In last week's lesson, Professor showed me how to adjust the lens on the camera manually to incorporate different sizes of the diaphragm. Lining up and choosing different diaphragms will have a direct effect on the depth of field included in the photograph. either shorten or broaden your depth of field. Therefore, when taking a photograph, you should be sure to deliberately select a shutter speed, diaphragm, and subsequently matching range for depth of field that is appropriate for the subject at hand.
