This photograph is a multi-media piece that I did for a class last year. The process I used combined photography and line drawing. I first photographed the palm of a hand using a macro setting on my digital camera, and then altered the photo within photoshop to create very high contrast and clean boundaries with black and white. I think printed out the photograph onto transparent paper, and used a thin, ink pen to create depth and texture through abstract line and design.
