Sar (shutter speed)
The shutter speed effects the exposure time of film. A slow shutter speeds is usually used in low light. It creates a longer exposure and therefore lets in more light. A fast shutter speed lets in less light. In creative photography terms, a slow shutter speed often gives the sensation of movement and fast shutter speeds make the subject look still. 1/8000, 1/4000, 1/1000, 1/500, 1/250, 1/125, 1/60, 1/30, 1/15, 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 1 are common times showing how long the shutter curtain is open before it closes again (how long light is let in).
