This is a photo was taken by Maya Goded of street kids in Alameda Park in Mexico City in 1998. I think the photographer did an extremely good job of capturing all the different emotions and expressions of the kids. There is so much happening in such a small space. The two in the front are slightly out of focus, thus although they would normally be the concentration of the image, the sharp focus of the three kids in the back gives a more equal perspective to all five of them. While the two in the front seem to portray a sense of playfulness and love for one another, the kid with his fist over his mouth has a sharp eye and half of his face is in the shadow which portrays a sense of courage, he seems skeptical and in control. The the kid lying across seems to either be hurt or dirty and almost frightened by the camera. None of the three boys in the back seem to be in contact with the state of being of the others. I like this picture because of all of it's activity and expression as well as the framing of each individual.
