I found this photo on the Magnum Photos website, and it is a photo by Christopher Anderson. It was taken in Caracas, Venezuela in 2007, and it is titled "Woman in a bar." I chose this photo of a potrait of a beautiful woman since we are about to learn about potrait photography. I loved this photo because I think it really captures this woman's beauty. The photo seems to capture the movement in the curls of her hair. Depth of field is emphasized here because the background is blurry, while the figure (woman) is clear in the foreground. I also like the way the light reflects off of the woman because it emphasizes her facial features and thus her beauty.
