This photograph was taken by an artist named Ruben Brulat. Here he employs the technique of using a wide angle lens to portray a feeling or emotion of complete loneliness and isolation. This choice to use this wide of a lens was clever because it allows the camera to take in much more visual information of the big, wide, stark building, and deliver the figure to the viewer as small and scared. This is a very good example to show different ways a wide angle lens can be used and how it can give the viewer more or less of certain types of information, depending on the message of the piece.
