I took this photo 2 weekends ago in Paris. I was on this bridge called the "key bridge." Couples go there and attach a lock to the bridge, and then each person initials the lock and takes a key. I wanted to capture all of these locks hanging on a bridge overlooking the beautiful river and part of the city of Paris in the background. This picture is a good example of depth of field. The locks and cage of the bridge are clear and focused in the foreground, while the view of the city is blurred in the background. I thought this picture really captured the beauty of this simple, yet romantic tradition, which is so unique to Paris.
