this picture was taken in greece by Nikos Economopoulos. the icronography of the picture drew my attention to it because of the story behind the boy in large clothes and his shadow. the shadows portraying the boy as very large as well as the darkness of the photograph plays along nicely with the oversized clothes and the childs mustache. similarly, the fact that the boy is looking down and you cant see his eyes makes the picture more dramatic. when taking pictures in the future i would like to work on matching peoples emotions with their enviroment like this photographer did with the shadows.
