fish-eye lens

a fish eye-lens is an extreme-wide angle lens in which all lines appear to curve around the center.

i have always found the way a fish-eye lens alters an image very interesting. i hope to work with this type of lens in the near future. i chose this black and white image as an example of a photograph taken with a fish-eye lens because i like the way the lens alters and intensifies the shapes of the trees.
